Melbourne Chargers – Rugby World Cup

The Melbourne Chargers announced today that they will be making the Glasshouse Hotel in Collingwood their home during the upcoming Rugby World Cup. The Glasshouse will be showing all the Wallaby fixtures on the big screen, with food and drink available for purchase for all matches. The Chargers invite any and all with an interest in this great sporting event to join them for a beer over some top-class Rugby.

If you’ve played before, you know how it works!

If you’re new to it, the game is simple.

- Grab a numbered lanyard on entry to the venue
- Each numbered lanyard has a corresponding envelope
- See a girl you like?! take note of her lanyard number and come to the SHAG TAG booth and fill out a TAG slip
- Put it in the numbered envelope of the lady you like

YOU HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL ENVELOPE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT (handy for those who have to leave early)

Everyone who supports marriage equality is invited to come to Australia’s largest illegal wedding ceremony and protest march.

On the seventh anniversary of the marriage act being re-written, we at Equal Love and the majority of Australians demand equal rights now!

7 years of marriage inequality is 7 years too long! Come and tell the ALP to change the marriage act now!

In the lead up to the ALP national conference later this year it’s vital that ALL LGBTI and supporters of this campaign come out in our thousands at this rally and illegal wedding!

Prizes on offer for best placard, so get your creative juices flowing and bring out the texta. Certificates will be given to those couples wanting to take part in the ceremony to take place on the steps of the Marriage Registry. Get out those wedding garments and join us at the country’s biggest rally for Marriage Equality hosted by Tracy Bartram in Melbourne on Sat 13 August.

The Lick team proudly presents Raising Hope 2 – Saturday 6th August

The Lick team proudly presents ‘Raising Hope’, a regular bi-monthly fundraiser event aiming to raise funds for chosen organizations around the world.

Brought to you by the Lick team and Lovertits, once again we are coming together and donating all of our time in putting this second event on featuring all of your favourite Lick DJ’s – Nugget, Miss Beats, Virginia Le, Catriona Constance vs. Melly Dee.

The previous Raising Hope in June 2011 raised just under $3000 for the Japan Tsunami & NZ Earthquake Red Cross appeals. Let’s come together again and raise money for a good cause to two great organizations within our GLBTIQ community.

We are back for our second round and this time supporting JOY 94.9 FM, Australia’s first and only gay & lesbian radio station, along with the {also} foundation, Victoria’s largest gay and lesbian community organisation.

So come and join us for a night of dance, girls, music, jelly shots and more girls.

Beer Pong Olympics: Sunday 17th July

Our first ever Beer Pong tournament. The theme is Olympics, so interpret this how you want!

Teams will have TWO players.  Each team is $50 to enter.  This covers your booze for the competition and your entry fee.
Spectators are *free*.  There will also be a demonstration table so you see what all the fuss is about.

Limited tickets as we have a set number of spaces and tables.

The winner gets their own starter pack from Kegs Beerpong, which includes a brand spanking new, professional table.

Cash prizes also up for grabs, along with prizes for best dressed.

DJs from later in the day and full kitchen open from 12-3 and 5-9 pm.
